Depart from Bangkok.
Arrive in Nakhon Nayok.
Pray for good luck at Nakhon Nayok City Pillar Shrine. Get to know more about Nakhon Nayok and the surrounding province. |

Lunch at one of the most well-known restaurants in the province |
AFTERNOON |
Visit Ganesha Park and pay homage to Thailand’s biggest Ganesha image.
Travel to the “Phuan” community in Pak Pli district, Nakhon Nayok.
Arrive at the Tai Phuan community gate at Fang Klong Temple, in Pak Pli district, Nakhon Nayok.
Receive a welcome cloth from the community members. Meet the community communicator.
Short break with banana and Fang Klong Temple’s iconic pandan salted eggs
Visit Chalerm Ratchawat Fang Klong Cultural Center and learn about the Tai Phuan community’s history and culture.
Pay respect to Pra Kru Wiriyanuyok, the abbot of Fang Klong Temple, with the five aggregates and pandan leaf rose bouquet.
Experience the “Ean Kwan Phuan” Baci welcome ceremony that supposedly ‘summons the souls of visitors’.
Arrive at the homestay, store your luggage and meet the host. Enjoy some leisure time. |

Practice some easy Phuan words and phrases for daily conversations with the hosts. |
DAY TWO |

MORNING |
Make morning merit with the host at the homestay.
Breakfast with the host at the homestay
Learn about the true Tai Phuan culture. Get to know the “Heet sip song” monthly traditions and “Kong sip see” morals, which are still practiced by the locals today. Make pandan roses.
Pay respect to the Buddha’s footprint model with the host at Koh Wai using pandan leaf roses as an offering.
Visit Auntie Tongsri’s ancient house.
Learn about the tools used for working with rice, the Tai Phuan and Huen Phuan traditions. |
NOON |
Lunch at a famous local restaurant |
AFTERNOON |
Chaluay Pochana, ancient Phuan suki from Ban Koh Wai Phuan community.
Arrive at Ban Mai Phuan community, or “Ban Moe” in Phuan.
Pay homage to Kusawadee Buddha Relics Stupa at Patummawongsawas (Ban Mai) Temple.
Visit the “Pak Pli Tai Phuan handloom weaving group” at the Center of Local Wisdom, Ban Mai Temple.
Learn about the ancient handloom weaving method.
An introduction to “Kao krayakoo” rice pudding cooked with coconut milk, a traditional dessert. Try it yourself as an afternoon snack, too.
Visit a rice field where you’ll learn all about rice and farming. Ride on traditional vehicle to people going about their daily lives.
Return to the homestay and have some leisurely time. |

Wake up early to visit the community market. Enjoy shopping for breakfast at the market.
Breakfast at the homestay
Cook with Kru Lord, get to know some traditional Tai Phuan dishes, as well as their food traditions and beliefs.
Learn about “Pla doo” herb-fermented fish and help the locals cook traditional Phuan dishes. |

Lunch of fried rice with herb-fermented fish wrapped in red lotus leaf |
AFTERNOON |
Enjoy activities with the community masters with various skills inherited for generations.
Return to the homestay and have some leisure time. |

DAY FOUR |

MORNING |
Breakfast at the homestay
Visit some of the top natural sights in Nakhon Nayok. Enjoy a boat ride with a view over Kun Dan Prakan Chol Dam. Swim in the waterfall, raft and have lunch in the middle of nature. Ride on a golf cart along the crest of the dam in the evening. |
EVENING |
Return to the homestay. Leisure time until dinner.

Breakfast at the homestay
Visit Ta Daeng Temple and its important religious sites. Learn about Thai temples and how Phuan people are devoted to Buddhism. Pay homage to the sacred items that are highly respected by the Phuan people of Ta Daeng village.
Learn about the sufficiency economy philosophy and follow King Rama IX’s footsteps at Tongmon Garden, Ban Hua Ling Nai Center of Environmental Study. Learn about organic farming and how resources can be efficiently used. |

Lunch of fried rice with herb-fermented fish wrapped in red lotus leaf |
AFTERNOON |
Enjoy activities with the community masters with various skills inherited for generations.
Return to the homestay and have some leisure time. |

Visit Wang Bon reservoir, and kayak or bike around the beautiful nature. |

Visit a fruit orchard and taste seasonal fruits.
Make a herbal compress or get a traditional massage at Ban Fang Klong community, Pak Pli Hospital.
Return to the homestay and have some leisure time |
